This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Carysfort was a
Light Cruiser. Built at Pembroke Dock, laid down 25-Feb-1914, launched 14-Nov-1914, and completed 08-Jun-1915. On completion served as Destroyer Leader at the Grand Fleet 1916-16. Joined the 5th Light Cruiser Squadron at Harwich Apr-1916-17. To the 7th Light Cruiser Squadron, Grand Fleet 1917-19. To Harwich 1919 with a detachment to the Baltic 1919-20. The Atlantic Fleet 1920-23, with a detachment to Turkish waters 1922-23. Returned to the UK and went into reserve 1923-31. Used for trooping duties 1924 and 1929. Arrived at Bo'ness Oct-1931 for breaking up. Won the battle Honour: Belgian Coast 1916.
