This the third ship to carry the name HMS Yarmouth was a third rate, 64-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 28-Dec-1748, 160ft long, 44ft wide and of 1,359 tons builders measurement.

Reduced to 60-guns Apr-1781.

Used as a receiving ship from Dec-1783.

Broken up at Plymouth Apr-1811.

Won the Battle Honours: Sadras 1758, Negapatam 1758, Porto Novo 1759 and The Saints 1782.
