HMS Newcastle (1813) (4th)

This the fourth HMS Newcastle was a fourth rate 60-gun
ship-of-the-line, constructed from pitch pine.
Built by Wigram & Green of Blackwall, launched 10-Nov-1813, 176ft 6in long, 44ft wide and of 1,556 tons builders measurement. She saw action in 1816 enforcing the blockade of St Helena, to keep Napoleon under close guard. Used for harbour service from Jun-1824. Sold for scrap in 1850.
