5th Rate 42-gun

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Lark/Larke was a fifth rate, 42-gun, ship.

Built by Wells of Rotherhithe, launched Feb-1703, 115ft long, 31ft 6in wide and of 492 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Woolwich 1726 as 598 tons bm.

Hulked Sep-1742 at Kingston, Jamaica and wrecked there in a hurricane 20-Oct-1744.

Won the Battle Honours: Velez Malaga 1704 and Marbella 1705.
