This the fourteenth ship to carry the name HMS Lark/Larke was a sail training ship.

Originally a wooden screw sloop, HMS Cruizer, built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 19-Jun-1852, 160ft long, 32ft wide, of 752 tons builders measurement, and displacing 960 tons.

Listed as HMS Cruiser from 1857.

Renamed HMS Lark May-1893 and used as a sail training ship.

Sold 1912 at Malta.
