This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Falcon was a 36-gun, fifth rate ship.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 1666 and of 349 tons builders measurement.

Re-rated as a 42-gun, fourth rate ship-of-the-line 1668.

Captured by the French 01-May-1694 in the Mediterranean.

Won the Battle Honours: Schooneveld 1673, Texel 1673 and Barfleur 1692.
