This the twelfth ship to carry the name HMS Falcon was a 14-gun, sloop.

Built by Barnard of Harwich, launched 12-Nov-1744, 91ft 6in long x 26ft wide and of 272 tons builders measurement.

Captured by the French 12-Aug-1745 off St Malo.

Recaptured Mar-1746 by HMS Fortune.

Sold 20-Mar-1770.

Won the Battle Honour: Finisterre 1747.
