HMS Crescent (1932) DD  (12th)

    
This the twelfth ship to carry the name HMS Crescent was a C Class, destroyer.

Built by Vickers Armstrong of barrow, laid down 01-Dec-1930, launched 29-Aug-1931, commissioned 21-Apr-1932.

Took part in the King George V Silver Jubilee Fleet Review 16-Jul-1935.

Transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy 17-Feb-1937 and renamed Fraser.

Sunk 29-Jun-1940 in collision with HMS Calcutta, in the River Gironde estuary.
