This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Crescent was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 11-Dec-1810, 154ft 6in long, 40ft wide and of 1,084 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from Jan-1840.

Sold 1854.
