This the third ship to carry the name HMS Ariadne was a sixth rate, 20-gun, ship.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 10-Feb-1816, 121ft 6in long, 31ft wide and of 511 tons builders measurement.

Used as a coal hulk from 1837.

Sold 23-Jul-1841.
