This the third ship to carry the name HMS Terpsichore was an 18-gun, sloop.

Built by Wigram of Blackwall, launched 18-Mar-1847, 115ft long, 35ft 6in wide and of 602 tons builders measurement.

Sunk 04-Oct-1865 during torpedo trials at Chatham.

Raised and broken up Jan-1866.
