This the first ship to carry the name HMS Terpsichore was a sixth rate, 24-gun, ship.

Originally French, 114ft long, 31ft wide and of 467 tons builders measurement. Armed with 24 x 6pdr guns. Captured 28-Feb-1760 by a Squadron off the Isle of Man.

Sold 04-Nov-1766.
