This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Mars was a fifth rate, 32-gun ship.

Originally Dutch, captured 03-Feb-1781 in the West Indies, 130ft 6in long, 35ft wide and of 703 tons builders measurement.

Sold 25-Mar-1784.
