This the third ship to carry the name HMS Emerald was a fifth rate, 36-gun, ship.

Built by Pitcher of Northfleet, launched 31-Jul-1795, 143ft long, 38ft 6in wide and of 934 tons builders measurement.

Broken up Jan-1836.

Won the Battle Honour: Basque Roads 1809.
