This the eleventh ship to carry the name HMS Cormorant was a patrol vessel.

Built by James & Stone of Brightlingsea, launched 1976, 78ft 7in long, 18ft wide.

Transferred from the Royal Air Force 29-Aug-1985 and used for protection duties at Gibraltar.

Sold 1991 at Gibraltar.
