This the third ship to carry the name HMS Adventure was a fifth rate, 40-gun, ship.

Built at Sheerness Dockyard, launched 16-Jun-1709, 118ft long, 32ft wide and of 530 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Portsmouth 1726 as 598 tons bm.

Broken up at Deptford Jun-1741.
