HMS Adventure (1924) ML  (12th)

    
This the twelfth ship to carry the name HMS Adventure was a minelayer.

Built at Devonport Dockyard, launched 18-Jun-1924, 500ft long, 59ft wide and displacing 6,740 tons. Armed with 4 x 4.7in guns and 280 mines.

Used as a repair ship from Mar-1944.

Sold 10-Jul-1947 and broken up at Briton ferry.

Won the Battle Honour: Normandy 1944.
