HMS Worcester (1843)  (5th)

This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Worcester was a fourth rate, 52 gun, ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, laid down Dec-1820, launched 10-Oct-1843 having spent 23 years on the stocks and completed at Sheerness Nov-1843.

On completion went into Ordinary (Reserve).

Used as a training ship at Greenhithe from 1862.

Sold for breaking up at Charlton Aug-1885.
