This the second ship to carry the name HMS Worcester was a 4th Rate, 48 gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Winter of Southampton, launched 31-May-1698, 132ft long, 35ft wide and of 684 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Deptford Dockyard 1714 as 719 tons bm.

Broken up 1733.
