This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Vigilant was an 8-gun
schooner. Originally the French ship, Imperial captured 24-May-1806 by HMS Cygnet off Dominica. Renamed HMS Subtle 20-Nov-1806. Wrecked 26-Oct-1807 off Bermuda.
