HMS Vigilant (1777) (3rd)

This the third ship to carry the name HMS Vigilant was a 20-gun
armed ship.
Originally the Empress of Russia, bought 1777 in North America and renamed. Armed with 14 x 24pdr, and 6 x 6pdr guns. Declared unfit for sea, and burned 1780 at Beaufort, South Carolina.
