This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Severn was a fourth rate, 50-gun, pitch-pine built ship.

Built by Wigram& Green of Blackwall, launched 14-Jun-1813, 159ft long, 42ft wide and of 1,240 tons builders measurement. Armed with 20 x 32pdr carronades, 28 x 24pdr and 2 x 9pdr guns.

Sold 20-Jul-1825.

Won the Battle Honour: Algiers 1816.
