This the second ship to carry the name HMS Severn was a fourth
rate, 50-gun, ship. Built by Barnard of Harwich, launched 10-Jul-1747, 144ft long, 41ft wide and of 1,061 tons builders measurement. Sold 02-Jan-1759.
