This the second ship to carry the name HMS Sapphire was a fifth rate, 32-gun ship.

Built by Deane of Harwich, launched 1675, 106ft long, 27ft wide and of 346 tons builders measurement.

Sunk by the French 11-Sep-1696, in the Bay of Bulls, Newfoundland.
