This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Pelican was a 38-gun, ship.

Built at Wapping, launched 165, and of 500 tons builders measurement.

Burned in an accident at Portsmouth Feb-1656.

Won the Battle Honours: Kentish Knock 1652, Portland 1653, Gabbard 1653 and Scheveningen 1653.
