This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Lively was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 23-Jul-1804, 154ft long, 40ft wide and of 1,076 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 26-Aug-1810 at Malta.
