This the twelfth ship to carry the name HMS Hunter was a
10-gun, brig. Used on the Canadian Lakes. Built at Lake Eyrie, launched 1812, and of 180 tons builders measurement. Captured by the Americans on Lake Eyrie, 10-Sep-1813.
