This the tenth ship to carry the name HMS Hunter was a 16-gun, sloop/

Built by Pender of Bermuda, and bought on the stocks. 103ft long, 26ft wide and of 336 tons builders measurement. Armed with 16 x 24pdr guns.

Wrecked at Hog Island, Virginia, 27-Dec-1797.
