This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Garland was a fifth rate, 44-gun, ship.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched May-1703, 115ft 6in long, 31ft wide and of 496 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 1709.

Won the Battle Honour: Velez Malaga 1704.
