This the third ship to carry the name HMS Foresight was a
Scout Cruiser. Built by Fairfield of Govan, laid down 24-Oct-1903, launched 08-Oct-1904, and completed 08-Sep-1905. On completion went into reserve 1905-09. Served as Leader, 2nd Destroyer Flotilla, Home Fleet 1909-10, then with the 3rd Fleet. Into reserve 1912-13. Leader 6th Destroyer Flotilla Portsmouth 1913-14, then Dover 1914-15. To the Humber 1915 with the 6th Light Cruiser Squadron. To the Mediterranean 1915-19. Returned to the UK and paid off at Chatham Jun-1919. Sold 03-Mar-1920. Won the Battle Honours: Belgian Coast 1914, Dardanelles 1915-16.
