HMS Diamond (1874) (8th)

This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Diamond was a
14-gun, wooden screw corvette. Built at Sheerness Dockyard, launched 26-Sep-1874, 220ft long, 37ft wide, of 1,405 tons builders measurement, and displacing 1,970 tons. Armed with 14 x 64pdr guns. Sold Aug-1889.
