This the third ship to carry the name HMS Devonshire was a third
rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line. Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 19-Ju-1745, 161ft long, 46ft wide, and of 1,471 tons builders measurement. Broken up at Portsmouth Oct-1772. Won the Battle Honours: Finisterre 1747, Ushant 1747, Louisburg 1758, Quebec 1759, Martinique 1762 and Havana 1762.
