This the third ship to carry the name HMS Dartmouth was a fourth rate, 48-gun, ship-0f-the-line.

Built by Shish of Rotherhithe, launched 24-Jul-1693, 122ft long, 34ft wide and of 614 tons builders measurement.

Captured by the French 04-Feb-1695. Recaptured 1702 by HMS Vigo.

Wrecked 27-Nov-1703 on the Dutch coast.
