HMS Vigo (1702) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Vigo was a fourth
rate, 48-gun, ship-of-the-line. Originally HMS Dartmouth, built by Shish of Rotherhithe, launched 24-Jul-1693, 122ft long, 34ft wide and of 614 tons builders measurement. Captured by by the French 04-Feb-1695. Recaptured 1702 and renamed HMS Vigo. Wrecked 27-Nov-1703 on the Dutch coast.
