HMS Dartmouth (1655) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Dartmouth was a
22-gun, ship. Built at Portsmouth 1655, and of 260 tons builders measurement. Converted to a fireship 1688. Re-rated as a fifth rate, 1689. Wrecked 09-Oct-1690, on the Isle of Mull. Won the Battle Honour: Sole Bay 1655.
