HMS Challenger (1813) (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Challenger was a
Cruizer Class, 18-gun, brig-sloop. Built by Hobbs & Hillver of Redbridge, launched 15-May-1813, and of 387 tons builders measurement. Reduced to 10-guns 1810. Used as a mooring vessel 1820, then a store hulk from 1820. Sold Mar-1824 at Trincomalee. Won the Battle Honour: San Sebastian 1813.
