Wooden Paddle Sloop 6-gun

    
This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Barracouta was a 6-gun, wooden paddle sloop.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 31-Mar-1851, and of 1,053 tons builders measurement.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1853.

Broken up Dec-1881 at Chatham.

Won the battle Honour: China 1856-60 and Ashantee 1873-74.
