HMS Avenger (1845) (5th)

This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Avenger was a
paddle frigate. Built at Devonport Dockyard, launched 05-Aug-1845, 210ft long, 39ft wide and of 1,444 tons builders measurement. Wrecked off north coast of Africa, 20-Dec-1847.
