This the second ship to carry the name HMS Avenger was a
16-gun, sloop. Originally French, (Vengeur) captured 17-Mar-1794 at Martinique, and renamed. Of 330 tons builders measurement. Sold 09-Sep-1802. Won the Battle Honour: Martinique 1794.
