HMS Warspite (1888) CC  (6th)

     
This the sixth HMS Warspite was one of two Imperieuse Class (1886) cruisers.

Built at Chatham Dockyard  laid down in Oct-1881, launched 29-Jan-1884 and completed Jun-1888. 

After completion she spent her time mainly in Reserve until 1890, when she went to the Pacific as Flagship, returning in 1893. She remained either in Reserve or as a guardship from 1893-1899, when she returned to the Pacific to relieve her sister ship Imperieuse. After spending 1899-1902 in the Pacific she returned home to go into Reserve.

Sold 04-Apr-1905, and arrived at Preston 03-Oct-1905 for breaking up.
