This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Tribune was a 2nd
Class, protected Cruiser. Built by Thomson of Clydebank, laid down 1889, launched 24-Feb-1891, and completed 1892. On completion went into reserve at Chatham 1892-99, then to the America & West Indies Station 1899-1904. Returned to the UK and was laid up 1905. Sold 1911.
