This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Scourge was an Ant
Class, one-gun, iron screw gunboat. Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 25-Mar-1871. Renamed C 79, in 1904 and used as a dockyard craft. Listed until 1930.
