HMS Royal James (1660) (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Royal James was
originally HMS Richard, renamed 1660. A third rate, 70-gun, ship-of-the-line, built at Woolwich, launched as HMS Richard 1658, of 1,108 tons builders measurement. Renamed HMS Royal James 1660. Destroyed 13-Jun-1667 by the Dutch at Chatham. Won the Battle Honours: Lowestoft 1665, Four Days' Battle 1666 and Orfordness 1666.
