Those the third ship to carry the name HMS Royal George was a first rate, 100-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 18-Feb-1756, 178ft long, 51ft 6in wide and of 2,047 tons builders measurement.

Foundered at Spithead 29-Aug-1782.

Won the Battle Honours: Quiberon Bay 1759 and St. Vincent 1780.
