This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Porpoise was an
Albacore class, 4-gun, wooden screw gunboat. Built by Pitcher of Northfleet, laid down 08-Mar-1856, launched 07-Jun-1856 and completed 29-Sep-1860. Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856. Breaking up completed 22-Feb-1864.
