This the second ship to carry the name HMS Pomone was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Built by Brindley of Findsbury, launched 17-Jan-1805, 150ft long, 40ft wide and of 1,076 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 14-Jan-1811 at the Needles.
