This the first ship to carry the name HMS Milford was a
22-gun, ship. Originally HMS Fagons, built by Page of Wivenhoe, launched 1654, and of 262 tons builders measurement. Renamed HMS Milford 1660. Burned in an accident at Leghorn, 07-Jul-1673. Won the Battle Honour: Lowestoft 1665.
