HMS Mermaid (1965) SV (14th) Survey Vessel
This the fourteenth ship to carry the name HMS Mermaid was originally HMS Sullington, a Ton class coastal minesweeper. Built by Doig of Grimsby, launched 07-Apr-1954. Renamed HMS Mermaid Apr-1965 and used as a survey vessel. Sold 05-Sep-1970 and broken up at Fleetwood.
