HMS Mermaid (1825)  (10th)
5th Rate 46-gun

    
This the tenth ship to carry the name HMS Mermaid was a fifth rate, 46-gun, ship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 30-Jul-1825, 15ft long, 40ft 6in wide and of 1,085 tons.

Used as a powder hulk from 1850.

Loaned to the War Department 08-May-1863.

Breaking up completed at Dublin, Jun-1875.
