This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Lynx was a 2-gun, wooden screw gunvessel.

Built by Mare of Blackwall, launched 22-Jul-1854, 160ft long, 25ft 6in wide and displacing 477 tons. Armed with 2 x 68pdr guns.

Sold 19-May-1862.

Won the Battle Honour: Crimea 1854-55.
